Solera aging is a continuous blending system that layers spirits of different ages over time. Because older barrels are never fully emptied, each release carries traces of the oldest stock, creating deep complexity, smooth integration, and a consistent house style year after year. The method naturally softens harsh edges, enhances richness from specialty barrels like sherry or port, and produces a “living” spirit that grows more nuanced with every season.
